Maria Allgood has over 25 years experience in the hospitality design field. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 from California State University Long Beach with a degree in Interior Design, and was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award from her department. Maria also was the recipient of the Network of Executive Woman in Hospitality (NEWH) scholarship and later on went to become the board of directors for Scholarship in Orange County in 1999. Maria started her design career in 1992 at Design Consultants, Huntington Beach. Later she went on to work for the casino design firm Yates Silverman. When the firm moved to Las Vegas, she was hired by Jay Buchbinder Industries, (JBI) where she helped to prepare design portfolio and project documents for international and domestic Quick Service Restaurants (QSR). Maria designed over 125 QSR and created design manual standards for KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. In 1996, she founded Allgood Interiors International, Inc. (A.I.I., Inc.), a hospitality design firm committed to providing turn-key design services from conceptual design to completion. Maria obtained her LEED GREEN Associate Certificate to expand the company's design services. Maria is focused on every aspect of design from the design concept, branding, graphics, interior design document, FF& E specifying, and purchasing. Maria's expansive portfolio features well known brands such as BJ's Brewhouse and Yard House as well as unique locations including Barrels Raging Sushi, San Clemente, CA, Trevor’s on the Tracks, San Juan, CA, The Winery, Newport Beach, CA, Redbrick Pizza prototype, Krisp-Fresh Living, Irvine and Tutto Frescos, Santa Ana, CA. In 2016, Angie Allen, a longtime colleague and friend, joined the company as a partner and A.I.I., Inc. changed its name to Allgood Allen Design, Inc. Maria loves working with people and seeing the client’s design needs met. Her passion for design is also seen in the classroom where she is a part-time design instructor at Saddleback College. Maria’s inspiration comes from her love of design, faith and family.

Angie Allen graduated cum laude from California State University Long Beach in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. She has devoted the majority of her 24 year career to hospitality design with a focus on restaurants. Beginning with the very fast paced environment of quick service restaurants at Jay Buchbinder Industries, she moved on to Creative Culinary Design in Irvine and was promoted to Vice President of Design in 1997. Here, Angie was the creative force behind many full service restaurants and bars including Buster’s Beach House in San Diego and Zodo’s, Santa Barbara. In 2002 Angie took a position with the Cheesecake Factory Development Department. As a senior designer, Angie had the opportunity to pioneer flagship locations such as Cheesecake Factory Honolulu and the Grove Shopping Center in Los Angeles. Angie was also a key player in an innovative multi-million dollar award winning Pan Asian concept for the company known as Rock Sugar in Century City. In 2008, Angie joined Studio McCormack (SMC) where she had the opportunity to head up the design on multiple new successful restaurant concepts such as TAP and Ginger for MGM, The Winery in Newport Beach, and Heroes and Legends Lake Forest. In 2016, Angie joined forces in a partnership with Maria Allgood at A.I.I., Inc, as President of Design Development and launched the new company under Allgood Allen Design, Inc. Angie's broad expertise ranges from conceptual design, presentation materials, design drawing and detailing, specification writing to project management and design administration for design intent. Her passion for design and care for her clients is unmistakable in every project. Angie’s driving force is her faith and the love and support of her husband, Steve and her two amazing sons, Aiden and Ace.
